Iraqi Journal of Science (IJS) is a blind peer reviewed open access journal issued by the College of Science at the University of Baghdad. It is a monthly journal that publishes original research articles in a wide range of subjects. The prestigious interdisciplinary editorial board in the journal reflects the diversity of subjects covered in the journal. The journal is being published since 1956.
The journal is basically self â€“ financed by applying fees on the researcherâ€™s work published in the journal. However, the journal is also supported by the college of science at the University of Baghdad.
Aims and Scope
Iraqi Journal of Science (IJS) is multidisciplinary peer-reviewed Journal intended to cover all applied and pure Sciences area. The specialty of publication includes the following fields: Mathematical Sciences, Computer Science and Information Technology, Geology, Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Pure and Applied Physics, Astronomy and Space Sciences, and Remote Sensing and GIS. Published Papers are registered and indexed in several universal libraries and it is free to download by researchers.
